Atlas Quest Troubles

From: rscarpen (letterboxing@atlasquest.com) | Date: 2007-11-07 22:14:29 UTC
For those of you having trouble accessing Atlas Quest, I am aware of
the problem and am trying to fix it. The web hosting provider is
making me change IP addresses, and it's causing problems at the
moment. The server, I'm happy to report, really is up and running--it
just seems that there's a problem routing the domain name to it.

Not sure how long it'll go on for, but hopefully it'll be fixed soon
and sorry for the trouble. Just so you all know what's going on, though.

The site and all of the data on it are doing just fine, though.

I'll let you do that yourself. You should be able to get onto AQ if
you use the IP address directly at http://74.200.76.117/

Be sure to type it *exactly* like that, including that last slash.

That should work (for the most part) until the domain name starts
working again.

Hey Now, Ryan!

When I try to login to the new add'y, I get this message:

different website's address.

intercept any data you send to the server.

I was sent right to AQ without the security warning. Thank you for the heads up--I'm planning to go out letterboxing next week, and I would have been lost!

You can safely ignore that problem. The security certificate I
installed was for "www.atlasquest.com", not "74.200.76.117", which is
why you're getting the warning. Until I get the domain name working
again, though, I'm not going to worry about the security certificate.
Just know that it's not another site trying to impersonate AQ, and
click "okay" or whatever it is to skip the message.

Thanks for keeping us informed via the LBNA list. It's very much appreciated.

As of 5:38pm Pacific time, 8:38 for those of you on the East Coast, I
was able to access AQ by using the www.atlasquest.com address, so
hopefully things are returning to normal!
